Well it started early for some (5.30am) when the meat was put on the spit (thank you to those guys) and continued into the afternoon with much feasting and much to praise God for including the beautiful sunshine.
It was also good to be reminded how God is working to transform our church family even now as we look forward to the ultimate transformation and how he is using us to share this hope with the wider community.
Below are a few pictures from the day:
thank you to those who blew up balloons on Friday afternoon and decorated the hall

we were joined by a special guest for lunch
I pray as we grow that we continue to grow in Christ, that we don’t forget that we are one body working together to encourage each other to pursue the word of God daily, to seek our Father in all we do, to live what we learn and to share it with others and to love those who don’t know Jesus yet. May we see everyday a day to worship God not just on Sundays.
love to you all
