We finally arrived in Kaohsiung today. We caught the speed rail train from Taipei to Kaohsiung, where the Scott’s live. The lady in the photo was bringing food along the train as well as Hello Kitty cookie cutter gift set. From there we checked into our motel rooms, very relived to have arrived at our destination.
Marshall and Julie gave us a yummy pumpkin soup lunch. Then they told us a bit more about Taiwanese culture, particularly about Confucianism and folk religion. The photo is of the Scott’ s apartment building.
