Today I wrote a postcard (letter) to just say thanks. Thanks for those in the community who have made this magical location available to us to use and benefit from.
It wasn’t a long winded letter just a short note saying we really appreciate what you have done ie provide the BBQ’s by the water and clean the BBQ’s for us!
I hope this might kick start a more thankful attitude for me. Because I am a member of perhaps the most affluent culture of all history yet maybe the most thankless.
Let’s be part of making a change so that we send postcards of thanks to all sorts of places as we live life in community.While we begin this more thankful reflection it will be natural for our thoughts to turn to God.
So why don’t you send off a prayer of thanks to God now.
