Youth Launch
Youth will launch into term 3 this Friday 2nd August. Youth is for all high schoolers and meets weekly at Lismore High from 7-9pm.
Book Club
Take the mystery out of evangelism! Join our Term 3 bookclub, we’ll be reading ‘Honest Evangelism’ by Rico Tice. Add your name to the sign-up sheet on the Community table and grab your copy for $10.
Newcomers Lunch
If you’re new at Southern Cross, we want to meet you and help you feel at home. Please join us for a newcomers lunch at the Thompsons place, 12:30pm this Sunday 4th August.
NCCC Youth Leader Training
This is not just for current youth Leaders, its also for keen youth who would like to be leaders in the future. Mike Dicker from Youthworks College will present some excellent training at Wollongbar Crossroads Church on Thursday 8th of August from 7:30pm.
YC ONE
This is one that Youthies can invite their non-Christian friends to. YC ONE is an evangelistic Youth event on Friday 9th August at Alstonville Baptist Church with Mike Dicker from Youthworks College giving an evangelistic presentation.
Young Adults Weekend Away
All young adults can head to Lennox Head on 16-18 August from some excellent Bible teaching with Mikey Tai from Brisbane on what following Jesus in this life looks like. Check out the flyer for details. Registrations close on 4th August. Add your name to the sign-up sheet at church for catering requirements.
