Celebration Sunday Countdown
Celebration Sunday is this weekend! It’s perfect opportunity to invite folks to hear how God works in the lives of ordinary people. Bring a salad to share with our famous spit roast lunch as well as a picnic rug or picnic chairs. There’ll be more fun than you can poke 100 sticks at! And remember: we all gather together for Celebration Sunday so there’ll be no gathering at Goonellabah and no night gathering on Celebration Sunday.
Holiday Kids Church Helpers
Check in with Lyn if you can be a holiday kids church helper during the next school holidays. This is a great way to get to know and encourage the children in our church as they grow as followers of Jesus.
Breaking the Silence Training
Breaking the Silence (BTS) is the safe ministry policy and processes for the Presbyterian church. It is our way of helping everyone involved in our ministries to stay safe. Our next BTS safe ministry training session is on Saturday Oct 20 from 930am-1pm at Lismore High School. All leaders including ministers, elders, ministry leaders and gospel community leaders, as well as those working with children or young people, need to complete this training every three years.
Women Helping Women
This 4 part webinar series for women over 18, provides practical training to think biblically and minister graciously to sexual strugglers. It discusses God’s design for sexuality, how patterns of sexual and relational sin develop, and has biblical wisdom regarding the discipleship process. Part 2 is on at Park Ave at 7:30pm this Thursday 20th September.
