SSA Support Night
Once a term we gather to support and encourage those who experience same-sex attraction and want to live faithfully for Jesus. The group will meet this Thursday evening the 8th of March at 7:30pm at the Thompson’s place and is open to anyone who experiences same-sex attraction.
Family Commonwealth Games Night
The whole family is invited to youth this Friday night the 9th of March, for our commonwealth games family night at Lismore High School 7pm-9pm. Join in the games. Hear about what we get up to at youth and things coming up. Even get half your money back on your YC18 registration. Bring along some supper to share. It should be a great night. Let the games begin!!
Partnering with Parents: Kids
This Sunday, 11th of March, straight after morning church at 11:30am in E block, kids church parents are invited to a “God, You Are Amazing!” session to think about how to grow a heart of praise in our kids. Childminding will be available, and sandwiches will be provided for lunch for both parents and kids. Please come along.
Young Adults Welcome Dinner
Our young adults will get together for dinner this Sunday 11th March from 7:30pm. All young adults can head around to Park Ave after night church for more action! Note: there’ll still be pizza available at LHS for those of us who aren’t as young as we used to be!
YC18 – Youth Convention
Youthies from years 7-12 will be heading to Lennox Head from the 16th to 18th March to hang out with Scott Warner who will be revealing what the Bible says about “The Passion of Jesus”. A bus will depart Lismore High at 6pm Friday 16th and return 3pm Sunday 18th March. Register online at mynccc.org.au
Newcomers Lunch
If you’re new at Southern Cross, we want to meet you and help you feel at home. Please join us for a newcomers lunch at the Thompsons place, 12:30pm on Sunday 25th March.
