Treasure Island Kids Church Event
Please give some thought to who you could invite to our Kid’s Church ‘invite a friend’ event: TREASURE ISLAND, this Sunday 5th March and give them a chance to meet Jesus. It will commence at Kids Church time followed by activities for everyone after church and includes a 12pm lunch provided for all families who come along.
Sunday Morning Playground Duty
Due to some concerns from the school and our desire to be good tenants we’ve decided it would be wise to have a couple of people on “playground duty” during morning tea. If you’d like to serve in this way, please grab a friend, put your name down on the roster on the community table, and grab a copy of the job description.
Youth: Sushi Train Family Night
Coming up next week on Friday 10th March, families of Youth are invited to join them for a Sushi Train night, 7-9pm at Lismore High.
Partnering with Parents: Kids
On Sunday, 12th March, straight after morning church at 11:15am in E block, kids church parents are invited to a Partnering with Parents session to help keep our kids growing as followers of Jesus. Childminding is provided, please come along.
NC Engage
Young adults and year 11 & 12s will be heading to Lennox Head from 17-19 March to explore ‘the search for meaning’ through some great Bible teaching from Brisbane pastor and evangelist Izaac Cowling. Grab a rego form from the Community table or register online today at www.mynccc.org.au
Meet the Family
This term we’d love you to share in our Sunday Gatherings the story of how you met Jesus. Record a 2 minute audio file of how you met Jesus and how you grow as a follower of Jesus and email it to office@scpc.org.au.
Newcomers Lunch
If you’re new at Southern Cross, we want to meet you and help you to feel at home. Please join us for a newcomers lunch at the Playsteds place, 16 Sommerville Avenue, East Lismore, 12pm Sunday 26th March.
BYO Bible 2017
Our big goal for 2017 is to make the Bible central to all our relationships. As one way of helping you to love your Bible, we encourage you to bring it along with you every Sunday.
500 Invitations
Throughout the year we’ll be doing all we can to equip & encourage one another to invite our friends, family & neighbours to meet Jesus. Our goal is to extend 500 invitations and pray that God would grow good fruit from our efforts.
