Kids Church Mini Olympics
This Sunday 7th August, Kids Church will be hosting their own version of the Olympics. We encourage all church families to invite their friends to join in the fun from 9.30 am to 2pm and enjoy Rio wraps for lunch – free!
Boredom Busters for James Murphy
Stew is collecting items to take to Sydney this Thursday to pass on to James to help bust his boredom. If you would like to contribute, get in touch with Stew today!
YC ONE: Love Your Enemies
Youth will be heading to Alstonville on Friday 12th August for the regional Youth event YC ONE to consider how to love our enemies. The bus will depart Lismore High at 6pm and return at 9.30pm. The cost of $10 will include dinner and bus.
NCCC Women’s Convention
‘Steadfast Love in Bitter Places’ is the theme of this year’s NCCC Women’s Convention to be held at Richmond Christian College in Ballina on Saturday 20th August. Jenny Salt will be giving Bible talks from the book of Ruth. Pick up a flyer from the Community Table and book online at www.mynccc.org.au
Term 3 Equip: TIME
Make time for our Term 3 Equip night which will focus on the topic of TIME. Come and spend some time with your church family as we explore together the Biblical priorities of TIME.
Family Life Contributions
To create a homely feel to our ‘Family Life’ series this term, we welcome your contributions to our stage set at our morning and evening Sunday gatherings. Bring your items and place them on the stage set each morning before we start and don’t forget to take them home again afterwards.
Change of Date for Celebration Sunday
Due to the Lismore High School hall being used for Local Council Elections on the 10th of September, we will move Celebration Sunday to the 18th of September.
