G’day Blokes!
Its time for all SCG and SCPC blokes to get away for an overnighter to the stunning green hills of Afterlee this weekend (9th & 10th of November). There’ll be some great Brazillian BBQ along with some fine music to enjoy. All in all, it should be a cracking good time!
David Bailey from Rose City Presbyterian Church in Warwick in Queensland’s Southern Downs will be our guest speaker for the weekend. Davis loves meeting and talking to people and is passionate about teaching the Gospel and why Jesus brings us such freedom and joy.
Friday 14th

7:00 – Wake Up
7:15 – Blokes & Boys Time
8:00 – Breakfast
9:00 – Bloke talk (separate kids activities)
10:00 – Morning tea
11:00 – Activities
12:00 – Free Time
1:00 – Lunch
2:00 – Pack Up & Head Home
DETAILS
When: 6pm Friday 9th November to 2pm Saturday 10th November
Where: Jarrett’s Farm, Vidler’s Road, Afterlee
To make the most of your time at Afterlee we recommend you bring the following:
- All the utensils you need to eat and drink hygienically – plate, bowl, cup, drink bottle, cutlery, tea towel
- All the gear you need to sleep comfortably – tent, bed roll, sleeping bag, pillow, mozzie repellant, ear plugs
- All the items you need to be sociably responsible – toiletries, clothes, shoes, hat, sunscreen
- All the tools you need to get the most from the preaching – hard copy Bible + one for your friend, pen & notebook
And chat to your GC Communication/Vision co-ordinators for ways your GC can serve on the weekend.
