Blokes Go Bangalow ‘Save the Date’
It’s a while off yet but save the date of October 14-15 for Blokes Go BANGALOW. That’s right, you’ve heard of Blokes Go BUSH & Blokes Go BEACH but this year the men (& boys) of SCPC are heading to the Thomas’ farm at Bangalow for an overnight event with Craig Dobbie from EV Church on the Central Coast. Craig will help us and our not-believing mates to wrestle with what it really means to follow Jesus.
Mum and Me Time
Mum & Me Time is our mid-week playgroup for preschoolers and their mums held every Tuesday and Wednesday 10-11:30am during school terms. All preschoolers and their mum’s are welcome. Our theme this term is “God makes each one of us special”.
YOUTH Launch
Youth will launch into Term 3 on Friday night 29th July at 7pm at Lismore High. Some of the highlights of the term will be the YC ONE regional youth event on Aug 12, “Family Feud” parent night on Aug 26 and the year 6 night on Sept 2.
Newcomer’s Lunch
For those who’ve recently joined us at SCPC, we’d like to welcome you with a newcomers lunch on Sunday, 31st July from 12pm at the Thompson’s house, 54 Spring St, East Lismore.
Kids Church Olympics
On Sunday 7th August to coincide with the start of the Rio Games, Kids Church will be hosting their own version of the Olympics. We encourage all church families to invite their friends to join in the fun from 9:30 am to 2pm. Lunch will be provided.
YC ONE: Love Your Enemies
Youth will be heading to Alstonville on Friday 12th August for the regional Youth event YC ONE to consider Jesus’ awesome challenge to love our enemies. The bus will depart Lismore High at 6pm and return at 9:30pm. The cost of $10 includes dinner and bus.
