Acts 27:1-28:31
Here in Rome, Paul speaks openly, and so the book finishes on a high note in verse 31. Even if Paul later died for this testimony there is reason for praise, as the Word has been preached and people are making their choice. Nothing that men can do, can stop the progress of the gospel.
The book also has an open ending and wants to draw us in by understanding that the mission is not complete. The spread of the Word must continue for we serve an active God.
