Thanks Matt for preaching today. I think this was one of your best sermons! I can relate to Jonah’s anger towards God. Likewise, I often feel angry about God’s plans for my life and this fallen, sinful world. It has taken God a long time to convince me that it’s OK (and good for me) to confess to him all my cares, fears, worries and feelings of anger (even towards him). I’ve found reading back to God the prayers and complaints about God from the books of Job and Psalms very helpful, as well as talking with my brothers and sisters in Christ about my struggles. I’ll be looking to them to help me with my fears re sharing the gospel with people who may reject it (and me!)
