Annual General Meeting
Our AGM will be held this Sunday 25th February at 11:45pm, at Lismore High. The 2017 Annual Report will be available from the Community Table this Sunday where you will also find nomination forms for the election of Committee of Management members. One special item of discussion at the AGM this year concerns the make-up of our support for ministries outside SCPC. We encourage you to come along to contribute to this important decision.
SCU O Week
From February 26-March 2 we’ll be looking to make contact with new students at SCU, many of whom will be arriving in Lismore for the first time during O Week. Please encourage and support the students you know—especially those in your GC—to be going out of their comfort zone in love of Jesus and their fellow students.
Equip
We’ll be exploring the facets of one to one discipleship at our Term One Equip night. Come along with your church friends to Park Ave on Tuesday 27th February at 7:30pm.
Aussie Sunday Lunch 2018
The Aussie Sunday Lunch is an initiative of Southern Cross University, and an opportunity to give a community welcome to students commencing their studies. Students come from Europe, Asia and North and South America. Some will be feeling a little homesick. Some will be thoroughly enjoying the adventure of living on the Far North Coast of NSW. All will be needing a warm welcome and friendship. Partnering with Parents: Kids
On Sunday, 11th of March, straight after morning church at 11:30am in E block, kids church parents are invited to a “God, You Are Amazing!” session. Childminding is available, and lunch for both parents and kids will be provided, please come along.
Kids Church Pick-up
Our Kids Church leaders provide a quality 1 hour Bible teaching program for our kids each week. The hooter will sound at 11:15am each Sunday as a helpful reminder to head on over to E block to pick them up. In the meantime, enjoy a cuppa & a chat with each other while you wait.
