EC (Evangelical Christians) @SCU
Give thanks to God for the excellent Bible training that EC-ers were able to participate in at the National Training Event in December. Pray that it will bear good fruit as Uni starts up again this year. Pray that EC students will sense the urgency of sharing the Good News of Jesus with their friends.
Please pray that during O week this week, EC students will make good contacts with new students coming to SCU and that through these new connections, Jesus will be made known.
Ask God to give Matt and Jasmine strength as they minister on campus this year. Please pray for Jasmine as she experiences sickness during pregnancy that she would continue to lift her eyes to Jesus and be supported by the love of her church family.
Please pray for EC’s 2020 gospel vision, that is aiming to see at least 10 students turn to trust in Jesus as their Saviour and Lord for the first time, to see 20 Christ-centred, gospel-equipped graduates who will go on to train others in the gospel and to see four EC-ers step towards full time gospel work.
Pray that our church family will connect with new uni students by inviting them into our homes, reading the Bible with them and getting them involved in church. Pray also that we will be generous towards Matt and Jasmine’s financial support raising.
